The Short Answer
AiS LABZ collects usage analytics through Google Analytics 4 and the technical data needed to host the site. We collect personal details only when you email or message us. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising. Analytics data is deleted after 14 months. To see, correct or delete your data, email support@aislabz.com.
Who is responsible for your data?
AiS LABZ is responsible for the personal data described here. AiS LABZ is an independent consultancy founded in 2024 by Salman Usman, operating at aislabz.com. For any privacy question or request, email support@aislabz.com.
What do we collect when you visit the site?
We collect usage analytics, not identities. The site has no accounts, no logins and no forms that store your details on our servers.
- Analytics: Google Analytics 4 records the pages you view, how you arrived (for example a search engine or a link), your approximate location, your device and browser, and actions such as clicking an email or WhatsApp button. It sets first-party cookies (
_gaand_ga_JDNTY51P8K). In the UK, the EEA and Switzerland these cookies are set only after you accept them in our cookie banner; elsewhere they are on unless you reject them. If you reject, Google Analytics may still receive basic signals without cookies or identifiers (Google Consent Mode). Google states that Google Analytics 4 does not log or store IP addresses (Google Analytics Help). - Server and delivery logs: our host, Hostinger, and its content delivery network process technical data such as your IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time, to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.
- Fonts and images: the site loads fonts from Google Fonts and some images from Hostinger's image service, so your browser sends your IP address to those providers when it fetches them.
- Google features on some pages: a few articles include Google's button for adding AiS LABZ as a preferred source, which loads a script from Google.
What do we collect when you contact us?
Only what you choose to send.
- Email: if you write to us, we receive your name, email address and whatever your message contains.
- WhatsApp: the chat button opens WhatsApp, which is operated by WhatsApp (Meta). Messages are handled under WhatsApp's privacy policy as well as this one.
- Partner applications: the form on the partner page opens your own email app with your answers filled in. Nothing is sent or stored until you send that email.
Why do we use your data?
- To run, secure and improve the website, and to understand which pages are useful
- To count enquiries by source, so we know which channels bring real conversations
- To reply to your enquiry and, if you become a client, to deliver the work you ask for
- To meet legal, accounting and security obligations
Where UK or EU data protection law applies, we rely on our legitimate interests in running and improving the site and responding to you, on steps you ask us to take before a contract, and on legal obligations. Where the law requires your consent for cookies, we ask for it through the cookie banner, and you can change your choice at any time with the Cookie settings link in the footer.
Who do we share it with?
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for advertising. We share it only with the providers that make the site and our communication work:
- Google, for analytics and fonts (Google Privacy Policy)
- Hostinger, for hosting, content delivery and images (Hostinger Privacy Policy)
- WhatsApp (Meta), if you message us there
- Our email provider, when you email us
- Authorities or advisers, where the law requires it
These providers operate internationally, so your data may be processed outside your country. They use their own safeguards for international transfers, such as standard contractual clauses.
How long do we keep it?
- Google Analytics data: 14 months, then deleted automatically
- Enquiry emails and messages: as long as needed to answer you and to keep a record of the conversation; client records for the period our contract and the law require
- Server and delivery logs: for the periods set by Hostinger
How can you control cookies and analytics?
- Use the Cookie settings link in the footer to accept or reject analytics cookies at any time; rejecting also deletes the analytics cookies already set
- Block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site still works without them
- Install Google's Analytics opt-out browser add-on to stop Google Analytics on every site
- Use your browser's tracking protection or a content blocker
What are your rights?
You can ask us to show, correct or delete your personal data. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to object to or restrict our use of it, to receive a copy in a portable format, and to withdraw consent you have given. Email support@aislabz.com and we will respond within one month. If you are unhappy with our answer, you can complain to your local data protection authority; in the UK that is the Information Commissioner's Office.
How do we protect it?
The site is served only over HTTPS, holds no customer database and collects no payment details. Access to our analytics, email and client systems is limited to the people who need it.
Children
This website is for businesses and is not aimed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
Changes to this policy
We will update this page when what we collect or how we use it changes, and change the date at the top. The current version always lives at https://www.aislabz.com/privacy/.
